Hangover from last night's dinner with my friends. I hate marriage talks. It always freaks me out. My usual line is "Wag ka muna mag-aasawa" (to a crush, to my friends, and to everyone else). I don't know but it's like acquiring a title much like Dr or Atty when Mrs is already added to your first name or that dash/hyphen whatever! Haha. Thank god I don't plan to marry... well, in the next 5 years it isn't in my goal list (New York first before anything else, baby!). My ultimate dream is to work in TV (Teen Vogue that is!) or be in Betsey Johnson's design team (or Anna Sui, I'm not choosy naman! Haha). I love weddings though but I am always in a what-to-wear-to-a-wedding dilemma all the freaking time. Random questions from the bottom of an endless pit of thoughts:
1) How's it like having sex with one person for the rest of your life? Seriously, if you plan to fuck around after marriage, save everyone the drama. DO NOT MARRY (yet). I don't buy the "variety" excuse of some married men who'd sleep with other women when they're already married. Ano to buffet???
2) How's it like when the man of your dreams turns out to be your biggest nightmare? How does one deal with that? What if you discover some big shit about him, like he's gay as it turns out? Or he's sterile (quoting my bestie)?
3) How's it like marrying to your partner's personal and family issues? You know the works... the monster-mom-in-law, etc etc.
4) How's it like discovering his infidelity dramas? Sometimes even the perfect girl/guy will be cheated on. One can't have it all.
5) How's it like if the man can't provide for your family or he either has a bad spending/gambling problem?
---
Issues... di ako masyado nakatulog kagabi kakaisip. I can take everything except na he's gay or he's being unfaithful, everything else siguro you can work it out. Kung bakla ka o babaero ka, gago ka goodbye. Haha.
