Right now I'm obsessing about MAC stuff. I want to go to a MAC counter right now and check out the lippies. The NARS counter in RP Ermita has the most unaccomodating staff. I want MAC. Since I don't have the luxury of time to go to Shang. (I miss Shang!) Side comment: I remember those days and nights when I practically lived in Shang. I even "memorized" (given my short-term memory) when each store change their displays, new stocks come in, etc. Yukkk, addict. I miss living in the MALL. I miss the smell of the mall in the morning. (Well, Shang at least.) It's an addicting mall-scent! Boring. boring. boring. Marina trigerred this make-up love. Okay so I was telling my bestfriend, Marina the other day to finally confront the idea of getting a mini-makeover from any beauty counter in Rustan's. She's still scared of using an eyelash curler. (Thanks to Mika, Alexa and Charrie who all convinced me I should get one myself.) At least she's using some lipbalm and cheek tint these days. Well, I still insist that she uses a moisturizer everyday! She doesn't even have a moisturizer. The next time around, I'll take her make-up shopping and let our plastic friend seal the deal with this make-up brouhaha. Since I always make lists here's my beauty must-haves of the ones I've tried so far. (Feel free to suggest other products!) Marina should finally make her own beauty must-haves list and I should help her complete it.
Skincare -I'm definitely not the poster girl for great skin since post-college days but back then when a pimple was unheard of, I relied on L'oreal, anything L'oreal! Now I'm using Galderma products (not Cetaphil, I hate this product) but I forgot what name
Lipgloss - the best lipgloss with a hint of color and packed with gloss sans the stickiness, the texture is almost like Vaseline petroleum jelly --> ELIANTO lipgloss that comes in a tube for less than Php200
Lipstick - THEFACE SHOP. I found my perfect red lipstick here. I just found MAC's too drying on the lips.
Nailpolish - THE FACE SHOP, Caronia, Caress, etc. I'm not very particular with the brand cos I look for the range of colors.
Soap - anything
Shampoo - I use 3-4 brands alternately - THE FACE SHOP Magic Straight, TIGI Safe for Color, Sunsilk or Pantene
Conditioner - not too picky
Lotion - anything
Eyeshadow - Lancome or Estee Lauder, well not too picky either
Blush - NICHIDO has good colors and "bleandability" for the price. I have yet to try NARS, but MAC is also good. I used to swear by BENEFIT's Benetint for lip and cheek tint when my make-up routine was simple
Concealer - MAC. This hides all my skin sins all the freaking time.
Eyelash Curler - Shu Uemura but Shiseido is just as good
Liquid Eyeliner - NICHIDO. For Php60 and comes with a good wand, it's definitely a keeper.
Mascara - anything Maybelline but I might change to FASIO soon because I've tried it and the wand is way better!
Eyeliner - NICHIDO. I think I have all their colors bcos the pencil is soft enough?!
Loose powder - not too picky
Pressed powder - Clinique still not switching to MAC
Bronzer - Estee Lauder

So nothing really spectacular with what I use. Haha.
I still want my MAC fix soon.
