I love going back-to-school bcos I could get away with replenish-shopping. You can buy new pens, notebooks, socks, lingerie, white tops, black bottoms, etc. all for the love of back-to-school. When I was in grade school, I particularly loved buying a new set of crayons which I rarely use bcos I like them pointy 24/7. I hate having to find black shoes ever since I was "cursed" with size 9 feet. I have a hard time buying really really nice ones. I remember when I was in grade 6, I wore loafers which I foundly remember buying for $40 from Esprit in the US. In grade 7, I wore patent ones still from Esprit. In 2nd year high school, I wore square-toed maryjanes which I proudly haggled for HKD100. The rest of my black shoes were "forgettable". Haha. With my shoe size dilemmas, it didn't matter if it was so-so but as long as it fits, I was okay with it. After 4 years in college of not having to wear black shoes for school, here resurfaces my black-shoe-not-loving-it-dilemma. I have to find black shoes for school. Requirements: in my size, chic, comfortable to save me from stading up for recitation, can withstand the streetness of Manila, quality good enough for the price, just the right height, can do justice to my boring uniform.

I saw these two boys walking in "my rampa" on my way to school. I wasn't able to catch them to eavesdrop about their first-day-of-school whatnots. Sayang!

I also spent my night with Lexi and Benji to start my year right. Cheers!
