Lying hurts. Lying sucks.
I have a book of lies.(They call it a diary or a journal.) Sometimes I'd like to call it a book of lies. Lies other people people tell me. Lies I tell other people. And so on.
What hurts and sucks about Lying and/or Lies:
1. Being lied at (worse, you knowing it and the other person had to deny it to your face)
2. Lying with someone ("Conspiracy" to lie or proposal to commit a conspiracy to lie) This is when two or more persons are involved in ONE f*cking LIE
3. Lying to someone
4. Lying to yourself
5. Living a lie the whole friggin time cos you're always scared to own up to your mistakes or scared to be true to yourself
6. Letting other people get away with their own lies cos you're scared to know the truth as well
7. greatest lies: i love you. i love you too. i'm sorry. i'm sorry too. it wouldn't happen again."i meant everything I said".
8. enjoying the act of lying itself or the consequences of it (fooling the other of the "truth", getting away with what you did, etc. fill in the blanks)
9. having to lie again cos it worked the first or the second time
10. not being worth the truth (this is the worst!)
People, if you can't be honest all the time, please lie "gracefully" and "tastefully". A liar knows another liar. In the same way a cheat knows another cheat. There's a million ways to be smooth believe me. If you must lie, pull your act together. Don't give yourself away with very inconsistent stories. Lying doesn't hurt once in awhile, but if it becomes a compulsion, that's another story. The only remedy in lying is to be honest, to tell the truth.
