MAGWHORE *

I'm the ultimate magwhore. Today, I finally got a copy of PREVIEW May. PREVIEW March was a really disappointing issue, so I didn't buy the next month. I loved the May issue. Fab! (Maybe making up for the sucky March issue?) Yesterday, I finally bought TEEN Vogue May. I usually buy magazines most of the time just to check out the photos and the editorials shot by our very-talented local photographers. I usually buy PREVIEW more often now. I stopped buying the rest since some of the items are all the same. Before I used to buy MEGA, since originally I was an MMPI girl starting from Meg, then to Mega (since my mom's a reader). Then came CANDY, Cosmo and PREVIEW from Summit. I also had a METRO, CHALK, and Pink phase from ABSCBN. Since Marie Claire Phils. arrived, I had a MC phase.

I usually look for fabulous lay-outs and photos in a magazine. I don't read the articles, if I do I like the super short ones. What makes me buy is the cover, if I don't like the cover even if the other features sound promising, I'm not buying it. I love to buy magazines but never had a subscription since I'm a cover buyer. I always have a phase when I withdraw from magazines altogether when I think I'm becoming too materialistic.(At least THEY know IT'S working!) Fall in love. Desire. Buy. That love-hate relationship with retail?! That's a different story! So I usually do not subscribe since I have moods regarding magazines. Haha.

I love the smell of foreign mags. Blame it on the paper or the free sample of perfume (the ones you flip?). I love Vogue especially when a new season starts because all the campaigns are there. I recently discovered Lucky and I' loving it. I also like W and V. TEEN Vogue is an absolute favorite even if the shoots are redundant. The way they style the clothes look so fresh (and young?) each time! Yey! I've got two new magazines I could browse.
