Then we all realize that no matter how expensive our things are, at the end of Saturday night, they have no value at all. These material things, no matter how much we love or value them, they can never equate to anything more important than life itself. I was having my nails done today, when I heard this other girl talking about how they lost their Plasma TV, blah blah. My very good friend lost almost everything they valued and almost lost his family. Even if their newly renovated house was submerged in deep shit for almost 2 days, he is thankful that they're still together after the great flood. The only thing he's sad about is the fact that his notes are somethere swimming around the house. So my prayers go to the ones who lost their Plasma TVs (yes to that girl in Dashing Diva!) and to those families who lost their loved ones. After TGF (the great flood) over the weekend, we have the next morning to start anew, to clean up and pick up what's left.
