In my perfect plastic world, Barbie would wear Lagerfeld (and now she finally dons the master's creations!). Barbie is every girl's favorite muse. Barbie was my first ever customer. That is if I decide to be a hairstylist, who knows? I lovingly washed her hair with detergent one time and her hair got so dry to the point of no return. I was being scissor-happy so I cut her perfectly blonde hair. It was a poufy jagged 80s bob with all the volume brought by the dryness. My mom was horrified with her hair and wanted me to throw her away. I couldn't let her go!!! She stood there with my other Barbies and looked more stunning than ever. I told myself, she looked different in a good way (not exactly the same chain of thought as I've thought of it today but heck). Her hair had more character bcos her hair was my creation. I wish she wore a lot of black clothes and red shoes but she didn't.

When I was ready to let go of Barbie, she suddenly disappeared in the room! I've been trying to unearth her from the pile of yesteryears' junk but no luck. Where are my lovely toys? I kept seeing my brother's old toys from circa-god-knows-when but still no luck. I will find her soon. This time I'll dress her in tank top, jodphurs and piles of chains on her neck. She'll wear red kungfu shoes perhaps or her usual plastic pumps. I'll stay away from the detergent, but I'll still cut her hair this time. Heehee.
