I invested bit by bit with my make-up stuff. I love MAC but I can't afford to buy everything MAC. I simply stick to my basic MAC essentials - loose powder, eyeliner (pencils) and concealer. For everything else, it's a great mix of local and imported brands. I love make-up bcos I like holding a brush and practicing how to blend. MAC brushes are the best. Sigh. I wish I could buy all the brushes!

I'm not a big fan of color (in fashion) so I try to experiment with different make-up looks. I practiced forever to perfect that smokey eye look. Well I'm not an expert but I stick to colors I can handle. The best ones I've used are gray, dark blue, blue green and violet. Black seems to be too tricky to blend for my taste. Sigh. Liquid eyeliner is the best! I had to practice one year before I was able to work with it.
