For 3 1/2 months, I was unemployed and relied on my short styling stints. I was ready to go back to school not until I was called for an interview. I was just lucky since the one they wanted for the job didn't accept their job offer. Then I was next in the list. Looking back I have no regrets in accepting this job. It's the best place in the world considering it was hell where I came from.

I just hate the fact that most of my sales assistants are contractual employees. It's retail culture. They come and go. Now you see them and then they're working for another brand. That's retail to us. I've only been with the brand for almost 2 months and I've lost 4 of my girls who either resigned or their contracts were not renewed. I get attached to people easily especially if they've been nice to me. It's like lawschool ano? I remember starting freshman year with 4 rows and I left with 1 1/2 rows. Towards the end of 2nd year, the 2nd row became the last row. Tsk tsk. Now it isn't such a lovely sight at work. You look at the selling area from the counter to realize that some of your girls (my SAs) are not there anymore. :( I feel sad bcos I miss them around. They've been like sisters to me. So ayun.
