Men and women cheat for all the right and wrong reasons. Can one person stay in the relationship and wait til the other is faithful? If the man can't be faithful to you why should you be with him? I think we fall in the booby trap of thinking that we can change him. Oh yeah with our love he will be faithful to us. But really there's never an assurance that when the man cheats he will never do it again. As much as we would like to make it work, fidelity is a non-negotiable thing. If you cheat on me, you go. I will forgive but I will never forget. Fine you can go out with your friends but I will always be paranoid that you are with someone else.

I know this is flawed but it will be better for me not to know the truth. As they say "what you don't know won't hurt you". In every relationship there's a test of fidelity. The minute you fail the test, you lose focus. There will always be a chance that you will slip like the first time.

So sad to know that two people thought they were meant to be. Then after 15 years one had to fuck it all up. That is horseshit. Cheating is not about love... it's about not loving you enough and about having no respect for you. Everybody deserves a chance to find a man/woman who will be faithful.
