N-A-K-E-D *

I found this from Nilo's site.
Seduction
is inescapable.
The more you ignore,
the more
you will desire. This is the world through the eyes of a nude photog.

Wala pa ako client na nagpa-nude. Baka hindi ko kayanin yun. Haha. I slightly feel uncomfortable with that amount of skin exposure. But I'd pose nude with red heels and cigs after 10 shots of tequila. I think I could only do 7 then I'm gone. Haha. I could also wear this ankle bag from Chanel if I could afford it. Sosyal! Haha.

I've worked with Nilo once. I will wait when he does a nude shoot for a client.

Being A Nude Photographer

I never thought that up to now still many people are amazed about my field in Photography. Well, yeah, my forte is really on NUDE. But please please plase don’t get me wrong, I am not a pervert nor a sex maniac. I am just a mere artist challenged to explore the human bodies in different areas. If a curious person would ask me, how I manage to convince the subject to undress in front of the camera, the answer would be very simple. Just like a nude picture, I approach the potential subject with complete honesty – no pretensions, uncertain of what would be the reactions of the viewers who would look at it. But art possesses a broad and complex meaning that even water as ink, is not enough to explain it in writing. In other words, it’s hard to explain but we know it’s there. We know it exist. We know it’s a beauty we never realized that it was there all along until we look at it.

When I am in a nude photo shoot, there will only be a slight chance that I would get aroused. Hmmm okay well yes at times I do feel hot inside but my being an artist always prevails. No kidding. I used that feeling to get the best out of every subject that I handle. If you can make your subject feel whatever you feel and send that message across, then bingo! You just made one hell of a masterpiece.

As a subject on the other hand, being in front of the camera is definitely a difficult thing to do especially if you are a first timer. I think many would agree that it is not about being considered as indecent but the fear of the negative opinions the viewers will burst out seeing your naked image in short, fear of rejection. Admit it, we don’t like being rejected worst mocked at. But whether you deny it or not, we dreamed of being naked and be watched by many. To be appreciated, to be admired and to be worshipped. But this I assure you; being nude is not what people will think of you or how they will look at you. But they will be more curious of what you feel while being photographed. It will all depend on the photographer’s skills to show the viewers your message – what message you want to send to the public.

Nude, generally is the most powerful expression of art. It shows man’s weaknesses as well as its dominion over the viewers when taken at the right time at the right angle. It shows how defenseless you are yet captivating with your openness symbolizing strength.

This is not to encourage you to have a nude photographs. Examine yourself first – what is it you want to share to the public why you are doing that? Never look at it as an indecent act but instead treat it with respect as only few of us have the capacity, the confidence to show the real freedom and enjoy the boundless opportunities that await us.
