FOR THE LOVE OF WHAT I LOVE *

I love my camera bcos it takes the best pictures for my archiving purposes. I love doing my personal lookbooks. The teacher said, "It's not the camera, It's the eye blah blah". I have always loved detail (in fashion) so it's exciting having to find little details in everyday life just to be able to capture it in one frame. I love my camera bcos it teaches me to be patient. I'm not really the patient kind of person. I hate waiting. Period. I like how busy my life is nowadays. When I'm so busy, I don't have time to be lonely. But when I stop being busy, then there's the crap waiting for me. So maybe I try to be busy cos it's the perfect excuse not to even care or not to even feel anything no matter how temporary it is.
Somehow this so techie gadget tames me to just slow things down. When I have time to lug it around, it gives me a sense of adventure even if I'm not shooting anything yet. Nakaka-high. Sometimes when a shot calls for me to get down on my knees, it's a truly humbling experience. (This is the reason why I figured I cannot shoot in a pencil skirt and high heels). It's similar to kneeling when you're in the church, ano?

So get into THE experience, dolly girl. You've been loooking for a sense of adventure all your life. You've been looking for something which could "tame" you. I think you found it.

This quote is from taken from my favorite movie - "Look CLOSER".
