New collections for Spring 2008 now up at style.com. I was wondering what are the trends cos I'm so sick and tired of skinny jeans, dresses and chains. Don't get me wrong. I love these things but I'm getting bored. I love trends because it's the perfect time to hoard your favorite items. But when you see the same thing on display each and every time, it gets sickening. Retail gods and merchandisers, please sell oxford-ish ankle boots, more button front skirts (this is officially a look I own!), high-waist trousers and skirts. Anything that's 40s ish. I think this era is back according to Preview. I'm so happy. I think it's a forgotten era in fashion cos it's not as glam like the rest. (War time, remember?!) Labo cos I'm a 40s/80s girl! Two different looks from both eras.
